You need a system. The old methods just don't work.

What would it look like?

Start with a goal. Our goal is: double production or work half as much in two to three years.

You would need client marketing. We know from experience that you will get half of that “double” from clients on the books when you launch our system. Most of the 400 letters and emails that you receive when you launch are client focused.

You would need prospecting. Very few FAs can hit a double without some serious prospecting. We have developed five relationship marketing strategies and three mass marketing strategies. You start with relationship marketing. As necessary, add mass marketing.

You would need a team. We proved, 25 years ago: no one makes it to high six or seven figures without a team. There's too much work to do. We know the exact steps necessary to build a team. Executed “The Good Way,” team building is financed through early system profit.

You would need a program—specifically designed for client marketing, prospecting, and office management. There are several programs out there called CRMs—Customer Relationship Management programs. But they are not designed for marketing. They really are contact manager programs, sort of like the old card file box gone electronic. Try to send a letter from a web-based CRM. Trying to manage a financial services business with Outlook is like trying to power a Porsche with a lawnmower engine.
